BMW 2-Series will receive some exclusive updates in 2015 and one of them is BMW’s xDrive all wheel drive system
Recently BMW has released its list of changes in its 2015 line up and it’s mostly comprised of inferior changes to entire packages. Some of them consist of changes in pricing or colour trims but some models like 2-Series are coming with some good features.
BMW 2-Series is likely to get two very important and useful updates next year. One of them is the xDrive all wheel drive system which would be offered on M235i. It is BMW’s most exclusive technology that can spin all the four wheels at the same time. Simple 2-Series will also be available with xDrive system for some extra money, because it is an option.
If anybody doesn’t want M235i then there is another option available with similar kind of performance and sportier looks, it is the 228i without xDrive. Secondly, the track handling system is provided to lower the suspension system 10mm lower than the casual suspension system. It further includes Adaptive M Suspension, variable Sport steering, M Sport Brakes and 18-inch wheels with super Sport tyres, all available on both manual and automatic models for some extra money. The X5 is also expecting some improvement packages in October, the most exclusive change is BMW N55 engine with larger displacement in xDrive35i and sDrive35i, both gets bumped from 2.979 litres to 3.001 litres, however an eight speed automatic transmission is also updated for extra performance.
Rest of the BMW line up is subjected to same or more, smaller or larger changes or adjustments this year, for example BMW 5-Series models will now get LED fog lights as standard. There is one change that might bring some soaring taste in, that the Z4 sDrive35i is no longer available with a manual transmission, only a seven speed dual clutch gearbox will be available.
