The all new facelifted BMW 1 Series has made its debut at Geneva Motor Show and stole the heart of the audience
The Geneva Motor Show is anticipated as one of the hottest events in the car world. This year, all the major car manufacturers around the globe has offered their dream and futuristic cars. One among the rest is the all new BMW 1 Series compact hatchback, sitting right there in Crimson Red colour, making the crowd awe. This one is offered with Sport Line package and this configuration highlights the dynamic aspects of 2015 model, making it the most radical facelift BMW has introduced since last decade.
The company is claiming this facelift to be one of the most successful one in the BMW’s history and honestly speaking, the whole credit goes to a young designer, Calvin Luk, who thought of this brilliant design. Unlike all the previous facelifts, this new one certainly projects the determination of BMW to offer something unique. Recently we have seen the 6 Series unveiled, it only had minor but refined touches. But when it comes to 1-SeriesLCl, the front fascia with larger air intakes and elegant lights speak for themselves.
Now the headlamps are somewhat, more angular, slimmer, and have sporty eyebrow that gives this new car a killer look. Made out of chrome, the revised kidney grille is now beefier and beautiful. The previous models had kind of square looks on the rear but this one has L-shaped tail lamps, giving it more distinct looks. Thanks to the longer and slimmer proportions, the rear has a sportier and wider look now. The exhaust pipes and bumper have also undergone serious styling.
The interior and exterior are not the only places where you can find good work done, the 1-Series engines have also been tweaked. 1-Series now offers five diesel and five petrol options where M135i is offered with xDrive option in petrol. The diesel on the other hand offers xDrive in 120d and 118d, with everything you need.
